Are you open for shopping?
Yes, we are currently operating under regular business hours for in-store shopping and fittings. Effective July 16, 2021 we are to required limit the amount of customers in the store at any time to 23. To help make getting the gear you need a little easier, we now offer contactless curb-side pickup, local delivery within Guelph, and free shipping across Canada for orders over $149. Do I need to wear a mask in order to come into the store?
Yes. Effective Friday June 12, 2020, it is mandatory for all customers entering our store to wear a mask. You can find more details about the Class Order at the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health website here. If you do not have a mask to wear, a disposable mask will be provided to you for a $1 fee. We ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided at the entrance upon your arrival. Please limit the amount of people who come into the store to only those who need to try on items and limit to the current capacity restriction (see previous question).
We need to make sure that we are operating responsibly within our community, and that means that we need to do our best to ensure everyone's safety, including all of our team members, their family, you and your family. The best way to ensure physical distancing in our space is to monitor how many people are in the store at a given time.
Do you sell gift cards?
YES! Gift cards are available in any denomination. Your can purchase a gift card online here, or visit us in store. Please note that only physical gift cards can be purchased in-store.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Order totals of $149* or more qualify for free shipping across Canada. We also offer $5 flat rate local delivery with Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo, no minimum.
*oversized items are excluded from free shipping.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, FreeStyle Dancewear now ships worldwide! Shipping rates are calculated in real time at checkout and customers will have the option to choose the speed at which their order ships. Certain exclusions apply.
How does in-store pickup work?
Once your order has been picked, packaged and processed, you will receive a notification letting you know that your order is ready for pickup. When you arrive you will need to give us your name and order number.
How quickly after placing my order will I be able to pickup it up?
Orders are processed as soon as possible. Depending on the number of items included, we usually have orders ready for pickup within 1-3 hours during regular store hours. If you place your order online after hours, it will be processed during the next day that the store is open.
Do you keep a record of my previous purchases?
Yes! If you have shopped with us in-store or online and created an account, your information will be saved and that means you don't have to try to remember style and colour code.
I am looking for a specific item, can you order it?
Yes, we can order any product from the vendors that we carry. Items that are not regularly stocked in-store are considered "Special Order." Special orders can only be done in-store and not online. You will be required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time the item is ordered. The remaining balance will be due upon pick-up of the item. Delivery times can vary depending on item availability and vendor, and therefore, we recommend that you order in advance. FreeStyle cannot guarantee that an item will be delivered by any specified date.
Do I have to book an appointment to be fitted for pointe shoes?
Yes, appointments are made to give each dancer one-on-one attention with a pointe shoe fitter. In order to ensure that pointe shoes fit properly, dancers need to be fitted by a specialist who understands the various aspects of the foot to be considered when choosing the correct size and style. Where are you located in the Grange Road Plaza?
Our new, larger space is located in the new building in the Grange Road Plaza between Infamous Eatery and Grange Dental at 257 Grange Road, Unit 2/3.
